WACONA ANNOUNCES MOVE TO NEW OFFICE LOCATION, ADDITION OF NEW TEAM MEMBER
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia, June 25, 2025 -- Wacona Capital, LLC (“Wacona”), a private equity firm focused on the lower middle market, is pleased to announce the opening of the firm’s new office location, as well as the addition of Martha House as an MBA Senior Associate for the summer of 2025.
Wacona recently moved into Suite 201 in the building at 300 West Main Street, squarely in the heart of Downtown Charlottesville. Originally constructed in 1914, 300 West Main Street first served as the headquarters to the Charlottesville & Albemarle Railway Co., a short electric street railroad operating within the City of Charlottesville.

Martha House is a rising second year student at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Prior to pursuing her MBA, Martha worked as an Associate at Tailwater Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm focused on making control investments in the energy sector. She began her career as an Analyst at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., an investment bank serving clients across various energy-related subsectors.
